The Web Design Classroom was created to teach the latest web design techniques and styles. There are many websites and web design tutorials, but few show step by step details of the entire process. My goal with this website is to provide ALL OF THE DETAILS when it comes to web design, which truly is both an art and science.
Scott Barnes
I am currently employed as a full time web designer for a company that focuses on Internet Marketing in a specialized niche. Since many of my day to day tasks are repetative and less creative that I like, I spend my spare time learning new technologies and creating slick design that work across many different niches, without being a conflict of interest with my employer.
I love teaching and so I am using this website to both learn and teach the latest web design skills and trends. I'm excited to help you make the connection between my web design video tutorials and actually designing and implementing websites for both yourself and your clients. Heck, I'll in throw in some tips to show you how to make web design a profitable skill.
Scott's Background:
Scott Barnes started his technical career as a Microsoft Certified Trainer teaching technical applications and soon fell in love with the Internet Technologies. He quickly was hired as Webmaster in the Education sector. Around this same time Scott began to free lance and decided it was time to become an independent contractor.
Scott has developed hundreds of websites ranging from experimental, ecommerce, search engine results focused mom and pop site, business card websites - every type of website across the sprectrum. Clients have ranged from governments, educational institutions, web design companies, small businesses to entrepreneurs.
Scott's vast range of experience will help any student become familiar with the many tools in both Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks along with any. More importantly my step by step teaching style will show real world examples of website design.
